Our Sweeterra™ syrups are functionally equivalent to traditional syrup but with less calories, lower sugar, and higher dietary fiber, allowing food and beverage manufacturers to easily strengthen the nutrition label of their products. Our ingredients are better for the planet because they are produced with a lower carbon footprint, and help farmers use their whole harvest. Comet Bio’s ingredients are made from upcycled crop leftovers – such as stalks, leaves, and straw – making them highly sustainable. Also, due to the company’s upcycling approach their ingredients close the loop on the food system, and provide an economic opportunity for farmers to sell their waste leftover after harvest.
